PUR   To be a vehicle:

•       For enabling and facilitating networking among African American educators 
  and  educators of African American students;

•       For professional growth experiences focused on improving skills for African 
  American children

•       For developing strategies to deal with problems common in educational institutions 
  serving African American students

•       For keeping abreast of educational policies affecting the educational opportunities 
        and environment of African  Americans
