History

In December of 1981, the Metropolitan Cleveland Alliance of Black School Educators (Metro CABSE) was organized by a group of administrators, counselors, teachers and classified personnel under the leadership of Dr. Daniel Drake.  Metro CABSE became an affiliate of the National Alliance of Black School Educators in 1982.  Since that time, it has also been active with the Ohio Alliance of Black School Educators (OABSE).
